
Dr. Randy N. Simon is a native New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island, and has practiced in the New York Metropolitan Area since starting his career. He attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a Bachelor in Science (BS), and then received his Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) from Rutgers’s University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Simon earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry (NYU). During his time at NYU, Dr. Simon was selected to the prestigious Honors in Endodontics program offered to highly motivated students with a high level of academic achievement and was recognized with the annual Student Achievement Award by the New York State Association of Endodontists.
After graduating NYU with his DDS degree, Dr. Simon was accepted directly into the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at New York University. He trained under internationally known faculty, concentrating on evidence-based endodontic treatment with interest in pain relief, infection control, and traumatic injuries. Over the course of his time at NYU, Dr. Simon participated in research, and was a co-author of a presentation at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting. Dr. Simon continues to work as a Clinical Faculty Attending for the current NYU Endodontic Residents, helping them train to become the newest generation of clinicians.
Dr. Simon is Board-Eligible for the American Board of Endodontics. He takes a special interest in the diagnostic process, discussing each phase of the treatment with his patients to ensure they are at ease, comfortable, and knowledgeable about their care.
Family has always been of utmost importance to Dr. Simon, and he likes to make sure his patients feel as if they are family as well!
