Digital Radiographs

Since discovering X rays on 1895 we’ve come a long way and advanced on imaging science. This makes it easier for our doctors to have a better look on your teeth to give you the best treatment. The physical process for digital radiography is actually similar to traditional dental X-rays that use film: With digital radiography, your dentist inserts a sensor into your mouth to capture images of your teeth -- but that's where the similarities between conventional and digital dental X-rays end. With digital radiography, the sensor develops the picture almost instantly and projects it onto a computer screen right before your eyes.  Digital imaging goes beyond just adding efficiencies to the dental imaging process because the latest technologies allow clinicians to capture images and use them in ways impossible with film.

Digital X-Rays

Digital radiography is a form of radiography that uses x-ray–sensitive plates to directly capture images during your examination, immediately transferring it to a computer system without the use of an intermediate cassette. Digital x-rays is time efficient and makes it possible to transfer information digitally, and makes it easier for us to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display quality of the image. Science has evolved so we can give you a great dental service.
